The breakthrough came in the first half when a cross from Issa Kaboré deflected off Zak Sturge, resulting in an own goal that put Wrexham ahead. Kieffer Moore extended the lead shortly after the interval with a powerful shot from approximately 20 yards out. Jacques Ekomié sealed the victory with a close-range finish, rounding off an emphatic win.
Millwall, on the other hand, continued to struggle, having now conceded eight goals in their last two matches. This comes after they began the season with consecutive clean sheets. Their woes were further exacerbated by injuries to key players, striker Josh Coburn and midfielder Casper De Norre.
